Birds

These pictures are taken through my third-floor office window. I bought the birdfeeder from a Bates student who was selling them for $8.00 in the Schneider lobby one day.

I also have a 6MB QuickTime movie of the purple finches together on the feeder! It was taken with a 24-bit camera and display, so I'm not sure how well it'll work for you.

I recently purchased the National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Birds (Eastern Region) (Bull and Farrand, Jr., Revised by Farrand, Jr., Knopf) ISBN: 0-679-42952-6. I highly reccommend this text as a resourceful reference.
